About the Project

Our client is a supplement e-commerce brand selling to the US market through a Shopify store. The store needed to improve on-page conversion performance in a measurable, defensible way — not through a large unvalidated redesign, but through a structured program of testable improvements.

What We Did

  • Audited key product-page conversion points and prioritized opportunities
  • Improved the product gallery
  • Reworked copy around the add-to-cart area
  • Refined parts of the product description
  • Reorganized the product-page structure for a clearer buying journey
  • Introduced more than 30 targeted page improvements over time
  • Tested changes sequentially rather than releasing a large batch all at once
  • Used A/B-testing software and waited for sufficient conversion volume before drawing conclusions, ensuring each result reached statistical significance

Why Sequential Testing

Many e-commerce tests are treated as conclusive too early: a few purchases arrive, one version looks better, and the team moves on. That can mistake normal day-to-day variation for a real improvement. We used a Shopify-compatible A/B-testing platform so each test could run until it had accumulated enough conversion data to support a statistically meaningful conclusion.

Disciplined Iteration

By testing changes one at a time — rather than releasing a large batch of changes all at once — and relying on validated results instead of a small early sample, we could keep only the improvements the data actually supported. That made the work measurable and reduced the risk of mistaking random variation for real improvement.

The Result

10%+
Verified conversion-rate increase
~5%
Increase in average order value

Results were confirmed through sequential, statistically valid A/B testing — not an early, unproven sample. The uplift came from disciplined iteration: improving important conversion moments, testing changes one at a time, and using statistically meaningful evidence to decide what to keep.

Ads Expert’s Comment

We watched a few early “winners” fade once we let the sample size grow, which is exactly why we waited for statistical significance before calling anything a win. It took longer than most teams are willing to wait, but a 10%+ lift that holds up under real traffic is worth more than a handful of early purchases that looked good for a week. As a registered Shopify Partner agency, this kind of disciplined testing is how we approach every Shopify engagement.
